Woltemade Nears Juventus Loan Amid Newcastle Attacker Hunt

Newcastle United is reportedly close to sanctioning a loan move for Nick Woltemade to Juventus, with a £5 million loan fee being negotiated. This potential transfer is dependent on Newcastle first completing the signing of a new forward. The club is actively pursuing Matias Fernandez-Pardo of Lille, with Bilal El Khannouss of Stuttgart also considered a target if negotiations falter.

Woltemade, who arrived from Stuttgart for a club-record £69 million just last summer, has found his debut campaign on Tyneside challenging. He managed only 11 goals across 51 appearances.
