Wisconsin lands Old Dominion QB star

Wisconsin's search for a pivotal quarterback has concluded with the commitment of Colton Joseph, who announced his decision on Sunday. Joseph, a highly-touted junior signal-caller, arrives from Old Dominion, where he earned Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors during his sophomore season in 2025. He showcased impressive dual-threat capabilities, passing for 2,624 yards and 21 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,007 yards and 13 scores.

This commitment is a significant boost for the Badgers, who faced considerable challenges at the quarterback position throughout the 2025 season. Injuries significantly hampered their depth, leading to a difficult year with an average of only 12.8 points per game scored. Joseph's proven track record of success and dual-threat ability is expected to revitalize the team's offensive potential.

Joseph now enters a quarterback competition for the 2026 season, joining current Badgers Danny O'Neil and Carter Smith, as well as incoming freshman Ryan Hopkins. His arrival signals a renewed focus on strengthening the offensive unit and improving performance in the upcoming season.
