Wisconsin's football program has added a new transfer commitment, securing tight end Jacob Harris from Bowling Green. Harris officially committed to the Badgers on Saturday, entering the portal after three seasons with the Falcons. He originally joined Bowling Green as a two-star recruit in 2023 and redshirted his freshman year.
During his time at Bowling Green, Harris appeared in 22 games over two seasons. He recorded 21 receptions for 187 yards and accumulated five touchdowns. Now joining Wisconsin, Harris has two years of eligibility left, providing depth to the tight end position.
Harris is one of two tight end transfers to commit to Wisconsin since the portal opened, with Ryan Schwendeman of Southern Illinois also joining. They are expected to fill the void left by Lance Mason, the team's leading producer in 2025 who has entered the NFL draft. Wisconsin has been active in the transfer cycle, acquiring starters at multiple key positions.
