Badgers Chase Top Recruit: State's Best RB Visits Soon
20 Feb
Summary
- Wisconsin Badgers plan official visit for top in-state RB recruit.
- RB broke state records for rushing yards and touchdowns last season.
- 247 Sports ranks recruit as top 25 nationally and top 5 in-state.

Wisconsin is making a strong push to secure Kingston Allen, the state's premier running back prospect for the 2027 class. Allen, a standout from Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, is slated for an official visit with the Badgers during the final weekend of May. This visit marks a significant step in the Badgers' recruitment efforts after offering him a scholarship last November and hosting him for a junior day event recently.
Allen had a remarkable junior season, breaking state records for both single-season rushing yards and touchdowns en route to a state title game appearance. His performance earned him first-team all-state honors and co-offensive player of the year recognition in his state and conference. While currently unrated by Rivals and ESPN, 247 Sports lists him as a top 25 running back nationally and a top 5 player in the 2027 Wisconsin class.
With offers from Northwestern and other smaller programs, the Badgers are keen to secure Allen's commitment before other major college programs express interest. Wisconsin has already secured commitments from other top in-state talents for 2027, including tight end Korz Loken, safety Dustin Roach, and offensive lineman Ethan McIntosh.
