Williams Valley has captured their second consecutive District 11 2A Championship, advancing to the PIAA state playoffs after a decisive 51-29 victory over Marian Catholic at Martz Hall. Ireland Kasper led the Vikings with 17 points, including four three-pointers, a feat she also accomplished in last year's championship game.
The Vikings established an early lead and extended it throughout the second half, fueled by strong defense that forced 13 turnovers. Ella Kobularik was a defensive force with eight steals, contributing to Marian Catholic scoring only three points in the final quarter.
In the District 11 3A championship held the same day, Executive Education secured a 39-33 win against Schuylkill Haven. Despite a late comeback attempt by Schuylkill Haven, Executive Education's solid defense in the fourth quarter secured their title. Mariah Hargrove led Executive Education with 15 points.
