West Indies Hits 2,000 Sixes in T20I History!

The West Indies cricket team has etched its name in the history books by becoming the first to surpass 2,000 sixes in men's T20 International matches. This significant achievement was recorded during a recent high-scoring encounter against India. The aggressive batting approach, a hallmark of Caribbean cricket, was on full display as the team cleared the boundary 13 times in their pursuit of India's formidable total.

This milestone underscores West Indies' long-standing dominance in T20 power-hitting, following in the footsteps of legendary batsmen. India remains a close contender, with the potential to reach the 2,000 sixes mark in an upcoming match. New Zealand trails significantly, highlighting the considerable gap between the top two teams in this aspect of the game.
