Warriors Waive Trio, Finalize Roster
18 Oct
Summary
- Warriors waived Dalen Terry, Tyler Burton, and Alex Toohey.
- Brandon Williams' contract is partially guaranteed.
- Three players are on partially guaranteed contracts.

The Golden State Warriors have officially set their regular-season roster by waiving Dalen Terry, Tyler Burton, and Alex Toohey. These moves bring the team's roster to the maximum of 18 players. Brandon Williams, who has no guaranteed money in his standard contract, earned his spot with strong preseason performance and will have $1.4 million guaranteed if on the roster by opening night.
Among the players on standard contracts, Williams, Georges Niang, and Charles Bassey have partially guaranteed deals. These contracts become fully guaranteed on January 10. If the Warriors wish to sign Dalen Terry later, they may need to release one of these three players to create space.
The team's three two-way contracts are filled by LJ Cryer, Malevy Leons, and Graham Ike. While two-way players do not count against the salary cap, their spots are not entirely secure. Cryer's spot appears the safest due to his previous appearances with the team. Ike's position as a center addresses a potential depth need for the Warriors.
