Vikings Poach Seahawks Front Office Star

The Minnesota Vikings have bolstered their front office by hiring Trent Kirchner as an assistant general manager. Kirchner's arrival follows his former Seattle Seahawks colleague, assistant general manager Nolan Teasley, who also joined the Vikings earlier this month. Kirchner spent over a decade with the Seahawks, progressing through various roles in player personnel. He began his tenure in Seattle in 2010 and most recently served as Vice President of Player Personnel for six seasons. His prior experience includes interest from other NFL teams for general manager positions approximately a decade ago. This transition represents a significant career advancement for Kirchner and a homecoming, as he played quarterback at Saint John's University in his native Minnesota.
