Veteran Receiver Mecole Hardman Seeks Warm Welcome from Bills Teammates

Mecole Hardman, the experienced wide receiver and returner, has recently joined the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. This move comes just a few days ago, as Hardman signed with the defending AFC East champions on Monday.

During his first practice with the Bills on Wednesday, Hardman had a rather awkward "handshake" with quarterback Josh Allen. While Allen engaged in more elaborate handshake routines with other players, Hardman's interaction was simply their hands colliding. Afterward, Hardman expressed feeling "left out" and said he needs to work on getting a proper handshake with Allen.

Despite the initial hiccup, Hardman is excited about the opportunity to play for the Bills. He stated, "I think they've got a plan for me... I'm just happy to be on a team again and ready to play." Head coach Sean McDermott also shared his enthusiasm, noting Hardman's "speed element" and "position flexibility" as valuable assets.

Prior to joining the Bills, Hardman had been bouncing in and out of the Green Bay Packers' practice squad without seeing any game action. He was one of several players who recently worked out for the Las Vegas Raiders, but ultimately did not land a contract there.

Now, Hardman is eager to make the most of his chance with the Bills and prove his worth on the field once again.
