Cathline Double Seals Utrecht Victory

FC Utrecht secured a vital 3-1 victory against Willem II on Sunday, marking their second win of the Vriendenloterij Eredivisie season. The match saw a standout performance from Yoann Cathline, who scored two impressive goals.

Willem II, conversely, remains winless after eight rounds of play, struggling to find form. The first half ended goalless, with both teams having chances but unable to convert.

Cathline broke the deadlock shortly after halftime, but Feyenoord loanee Jaden Slory quickly equalized for Willem II. As the game neared its end, Cathline struck again with a powerful shot, and substitute Ángel Alarcón added a third goal to secure the win for FC Utrecht.
