Four legendary USC Trojans players have been recognized on an all-time top 50 college football players list.
Reggie Bush, a standout running back from 2003-2005, secured the highest spot for USC at No. 15. Bush earned a Heisman Trophy in 2005 and was part of national championship teams in 2003 and 2004.
Following Bush is O.J. Simpson, another prolific running back who played for USC in 1967-1968. Simpson, ranked 24th, also claimed the Heisman Trophy in 1968 and was a key player on the 1967 national championship team.
Quarterback Matt Leinart, a pivotal figure in USC's back-to-back national championships in 2003 and 2004, earned the 33rd position. He was the recipient of the 2004 Heisman Trophy.
Rounding out the USC contingent is running back Marcus Allen, ranked 42nd. Allen's stellar college career from 1978-1981 culminated in a Heisman Trophy win in 1981, the same year he was a unanimous All-American.
