USC Football Recruits Visit Weekend

USC's football program is commencing official visits for high school recruits this upcoming weekend. The Trojans are strategically building their 2027 class, aiming to secure only two to three additional prospects. The offensive side of the ball is a primary focus for these visits.

Key targets include a potential quarterback, with Peyton Houston being the sole offered signal-caller in the 2027 cycle. USC is also considering other options, including the transfer portal, as their current scholarship quarterbacks are in their final seasons. Last cycle's recruit, Jonas Williams, is the only other scholarship quarterback.

The recruiting board also features running back Javon Vital, a commit from Louisiana, marking a streak of recruits from the state. At receiver, commitments from Quentin Hale and Roye Oliver III are solidified, with no immediate plans to replace a decommitted player. Tight end Jace Cannon has also committed.

On the offensive line, USC successfully flipped four-star offensive tackle Drew Fielder from Oregon. Fielder, whose family has strong ties to USC, is the team's only offensive line commit. Another priority target, four-star offensive tackle Isaiah Bertola from Hawaii, will visit this weekend, with USC vying against Cal, BYU, and potentially Texas for his commitment.
