The Ugandan national football team has made history by becoming the first delegation to arrive in Morocco for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Landing at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, the Uganda Cranes are now settling in ahead of the major continental tournament.
Their AFCON 2025 journey kicks off on December 23 against Tunisia in Rabat, followed by a match against Tanzania on December 27. The group stage concludes on December 30 with a game against Nigeria in Fez.
Belgian head coach Paul Put has selected a preliminary squad of 30 players, with the final team roster yet to be announced. This marks Uganda's eighth appearance in the prestigious Africa Cup of Nations finals.
