With the UFL season now concluded, several players are attracting attention from NFL teams. Hakeem Butler, recognized as the UFL's Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and 2026, is pursuing a chance with his sixth NFL team after excelling with the St. Louis Battlehawks. The Green Bay Packers have a history of signing players from the UFL, with punter Daniel Whelan and backup kicker Lukas Havrisik being recent examples.
Keshawn Banks, a former Green Bay Packer who was on their practice squad in 2023, is now receiving NFL tryouts. Wide receiver Denzel Mims, a second-round pick in the 2020 draft, also recently had brief stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Quarterback Hunter Dekkers is another name garnering interest, particularly from the New Orleans Saints. Dekkers faced an NCAA ban for betting on games during his college career, leading him to transfer down to the junior college level before turning professional. He previously spent time with the Houston Gamblers in the UFL.
