The co-main event for UFC Fight Night 292 has been adjusted. Randy Brown is now scheduled to face Jacobe Smith in a welterweight bout at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on October 31st. Smith steps in as a short-notice replacement after the original opponent, Carlos Leal, withdrew due to injury.
This fight marks the second bout of the year for Randy Brown. He looks to reverse his recent fortunes after two consecutive losses. Brown was previously defeated by Gabriel Bonfim and Kevin Holland.
Jacobe Smith will defend his undefeated record against a significant step-up in competition. He recently secured a first-round finish at UFC 332 earlier this month. All four of Smith's UFC victories have come by stoppage.
