UFC Fighters Earn $192K in Compliance Pay

Fighters competing at UFC Fight Night 283, held at Belgrade Arena, received a total of $192,000 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay. This comprehensive program, which mandates adherence to outfitting requirements and media obligations, is a new initiative by the UFC. It replaces previous payment structures previously known as the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. The payout tiers are determined by a fighter's total number of bouts within the UFC, WEC, and Strikeforce, with experienced fighters earning higher amounts. For instance, fighters with 1-3 bouts received $4,000, while those with 21 or more bouts earned $21,000. Champions and title challengers received $42,000 and $32,000 respectively. Beyond fight-night compensation, UFC athletes are also set to receive perpetual royalty payments, ranging from 20 to 30 percent of merchandise sales featuring their image. These payouts underscore the UFC's commitment to supporting its athletes financially through evolving compensation models.
