Citronaut Returns: UCF Uniforms Honor Mercury, Gemini, Apollo

UCF's annual Space Game uniforms for this year, themed "Mission X," draw inspiration from the iconic Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space programs. The Knights' latest designs feature intricate details reminiscent of 1960s space suits. Black stitching on the jerseys mimics Mercury-era suits, while Canaveral blue and red cuffs reference Gemini designs. Shoulder patches are modeled after Gemini mission insignia, and the pants include the Citronaut mascot and striping seen on early space suits. The helmets sport a red stripe, a nod to Apollo mission commanders' headwear. These special uniforms will make their debut on October 30, during the game against an unspecified opponent at the Acrisure Bounce House.
