Knights Strike Down Kansas in Thriller!

The UCF Knights men's basketball team has extended its winning streak to 11 games following a pivotal home victory over No. 17 Kansas. The Knights, now boasting a 12-1 record, are showing impressive form as they approach their next conference matchup. This recent success has placed UCF just outside the top 25 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, indicating their growing national recognition.

Their next test arrives Tuesday, January 6, with a road game against Oklahoma State. The Cowboys hold an undefeated 10-0 record at home, presenting a significant challenge for the Knights' road game dominance. Coach Johnny Dawkins emphasized the competitive nature of the Big 12 conference, stating that each game requires intense preparation and focus.

UCF's path to this point includes two Quad 1 wins, bolstering their resume. The team demonstrated strong performance against Kansas, maintaining the lead for a significant portion of the game. Players like Devan Cambridge, Riley Kugel, and Themus Fulks were instrumental in the victory, with Jordan Burks sealing the win with a late go-ahead three-pointer. Oklahoma State, known for high-scoring games, also features strong offensive players like Anthony Roy and Vyctorious Miller.
