Williams has received a medical waiver for 2026 and is expected to start at safety alongside Demari Henderson, a role he was slated for before his injury.
Tyren Hornes, a freshman wide receiver, joins UCF as their highest-rated recruit from the 2026 class. He was Booker High School's star player, achieving 54 catches for 802 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior season. Hornes impressed during spring practices and fall camp, earning him the backup wide receiver spot behind Waden Charles. Coaches believe he has the potential to be a special player, and he is expected to see playing time as he adjusts to college football.
