Summary
- UCF baseball ranked No. 22 and No. 23 in national polls.
- Knights won 14 of their last 17 games leading up to rankings.
- Upcoming series against No. 11 West Virginia to test UCF.

UCF baseball has officially entered the national polls, earning spots in both the D1Baseball and Perfect Game Week 7 rankings. The Knights secured the No. 22 position in Perfect Game's poll and No. 23 in D1Baseball's rankings. This marks the first time UCF has appeared in both polls this season.
The team's ascent is a direct result of their impressive performance, having won 14 of their last 17 games since March 1. This recent success includes a decisive weekend sweep against Arizona, where they secured victories with scores of 11-6, 13-3, and 3-2. These wins boosted UCF's overall record to 18-8 and their Big 12 standing to 8-1.
UCF also received votes in the USA Today and NCBWA polls. The Knights have an opportunity to climb higher in the Week 8 rankings as they prepare for a three-game road series against No. 11 West Virginia from April 3-5. Additionally, they are scheduled for a midweek game at Penn State on April 1.
