Trevon Gray, the nation's No. 1 ranked wrestler in NCAA Division II at 125 pounds, has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference co-wrestler of the week. This recognition follows his exceptional performance at the Midwest Classic, where he posted an undefeated 5-0 record.
Gray captured the individual championship title on Sunday, defeating the NCAA's second-ranked wrestler, Shane Corrigan, with a decisive 7-2 score in the final bout. His remarkable performance included two major decisions, a technical fall, and a pin.
A two-time NCAA All-American, Gray led his Pitt-Johnstown team to a runner-up finish in the 48-team field, with six teammates also placing in the top eight.
