Trace McSorley Joins Buffalo Bills Staff

Trace McSorley, a notable figure from Penn State's football program, has departed from his assistant quarterbacks coach position. He is heading to the NFL to join the coaching staff of the Buffalo Bills. This transition marks a significant career step for the former Nittany Lions quarterback.

McSorley's move to the Bills will place him alongside Joe Brady, who previously served as a graduate assistant at Penn State. Brady and McSorley were part of the Nittany Lions' successful period, including a Big Ten championship run. McSorley had been retained by head coach Matt Campbell for the upcoming season but opted for the NFL opportunity.

This departure follows another recent move of a Penn State assistant coach to the NFL. Noah Pauley recently left his wide receivers coach role at Penn State for the same position with the Green Bay Packers. The article suggests a potential future return for McSorley to Penn State in a higher capacity.
