The Florida Panthers have finalized a significant trade, acquiring forward Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators. This blockbuster deal brings together brothers Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, who will now play on the same NHL team in Florida. The Panthers sent a package of four draft picks to the Senators, including their first-round selection in the current year and another in 2029.

Brady Tkachuk, who has spent his entire eight-year NHL career with Ottawa and served as captain, now joins his brother Matthew in Florida. The brothers have previously played together for USA Hockey, winning gold at the Olympics. Their parents, who have a home in Florida, are often seen at Panthers games, and the team's management also has ties to USA Hockey, facilitating the move.

Tkachuk, who is under contract for two more seasons, was previously the captain for the Senators and led the team in numerous statistical categories during his tenure.
