Titans Sideline Trio of Safeties

The team announced on Tuesday that three key safeties have been placed on injured reserve, effectively concluding their seasons with only three games left to play. This roster move comes after a difficult loss on Sunday.

The injured players include veteran Xavier Woods, rookie Kevin Winston Jr., and Mike Brown. All three sustained their injuries during the recent game against San Francisco. Woods and Winston Jr. both experienced hamstring injuries, while Brown suffered an ankle injury. Woods had been a consistent starter, while Winston Jr. had earned significant playing time as a rookie.

To address the sudden shortage at the safety position, the Titans have moved to acquire new talent. They have signed Erick Hallett from the Detroit Lions' practice squad and Sanoussi Kane from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad. Additionally, the team claimed rookie guard Garrett Dellinger off waivers from the Cleveland Browns, signaling an effort to strengthen various areas of the roster before the season concludes.
