Fulks Shatters UCF Assist Record, Eyes NBA

Themus Fulks, a former standout point guard for UCF, has been nominated for the Big 12 Athlete of the Year award. This nomination recognizes his significant contributions during his time with the Knights. Fulks was instrumental in leading UCF to their best finish since joining the Big 12, successfully ending a six-year March Madness drought. His individual performance included averaging 14 points, 6.7 assists, and 3 rebounds per game, with an impressive 46.2% field goal percentage. He earned Third-Team All-Big 12 Honors, a first for any Knight in the conference. Fulks also set a new UCF single-season assist record, tallying 222 assists, surpassing the previous mark of 183. He is currently participating in the Los Angeles Clippers' Summer League, aiming to launch a professional career after going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft.
