Texas A&M Courts Top 2027 Recruits This Weekend

Texas A&M's 2026 spring practice officially commenced on Friday, March 21, 2026. Head Coach Mike Elko is utilizing this period to welcome numerous elite prospects from the 2027 recruiting class. This weekend, the program is set to host highly sought-after talents, including five-star running back Landen Williams-Callis and five-star offensive lineman Mark Matthews.

Adding to the excitement, four-star tight end Jordan Karhoff, hailing from Ohio, unveiled his final five schools on Friday, March 21, 2026. Texas A&M is among his choices, alongside Georgia, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Ohio State. Karhoff is scheduled for an official visit to College Station on June 5.

Coach Elko's recruiting efforts have consistently attracted top talent. In the current 2027 cycle, the staff has not yet secured a tight end commitment but is actively pursuing the No. 1-ranked player at the position, Ahmad Hudson. They aim to make significant progress with both Hudson and Karhoff throughout the summer before the 2026 season begins.

Karhoff, who also possesses defensive end capabilities, has been fully healthy after appearing in only three games last season. His decision could come even before his final high school season concludes. Securing either Hudson or Karhoff would represent a major win for Texas A&M, filling a vital position for their future offense.
