The Houston Texans have reached a one-year contract agreement with offensive tackle Trent Brown. Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, disclosed that the deal is valued at $7 million. This signing occurs shortly after the Texans traded Tytus Howard to Cleveland and sent Juice Scruggs to Detroit.
Brown, a 6-foot-8, 380-pound lineman, joined the Texans for the previous season. He participated in seven starts despite missing some early games due to injuries. Throughout his 11-year NFL career, the 32-year-old has appeared in 110 games, with 103 starts for teams including San Francisco, New England, the Raiders, and Cincinnati. He earned his sole Pro Bowl selection in 2019 while playing for the Raiders.
