The Mumbai Cricket Association recently completed the player auction for the fourth season of the T20 Mumbai League. This event saw franchises strategically acquire a mix of established international cricketers and promising emerging talent from the city.
Icon players confirmed to lead their franchises include Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shardul Thakur, Sarfaraz Khan, and Tushar Deshpande. Notably, Arjun Tendulkar was acquired by Arcs Andheri for Rs 10 lakh, while young talents Ayush Mhatre and Suryansh Shedge were retained by Triumph Knights.
All-rounder Akash Parkar emerged as a top acquisition, joining SoBo Mumbai Falcons for Rs 12 lakh. Arcs Andheri also made significant moves, securing Prasad Pawar for Rs 11.50 lakh and Musheer Khan for Rs 11 lakh.
