The Atlantic Coast Conference has officially unveiled the 2026 Syracuse football schedule, marking the first season with nine league games and a reduction to three non-conference contests. The schedule, released on Monday night, features a balanced slate of six home and six road games across 13 weeks. The season kicks off at home on September 5th against New Hampshire, followed by California in Week 2. A Thursday night road game at Pittsburgh on September 17th precedes an open week on September 26th.
October begins with consecutive road games at Connecticut and Virginia, before returning home for Louisville on October 17th. Syracuse will then face North Carolina on the road, followed by a potential Friday night game against SMU on October 30th or 31st. The possibility of flexing the SMU or the following week's Clemson game for a Friday night slot exists. The regular season concludes with a rematch against Notre Dame on November 28th in the Dome.
