The New England Patriots are reportedly considering a split with wide receiver Stefon Diggs after his first season with the team. The potential departure comes amid Diggs' legal troubles. He recently pleaded not guilty to felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges stemming from an alleged incident with his personal chef in December. He is also named in an unrelated defamation lawsuit in Florida.
On a personal level, Diggs also recently split from his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B. This turbulence follows a year that also saw Diggs become a father to three children with different women.
