Joao Fonseca, last year's champion, will miss the current Asian swing but is expected to return for the Basel event. The ATP 500 tournament is scheduled to take place from October 26 to November 1, concurrently with the Erste Bank Open in Austria, which will feature world number one Jannik Sinner.
