St Mirren Scrapes by: Premiership Survival Secured!

St Mirren has secured their place in the Premiership for another season, narrowly defeating Partick Thistle 1-0 in the second leg of their play-off final. The hard-fought victory has brought relief to the club's supporters, though many shared feelings of exhaustion and disappointment with the team's overall performance.

Fan reactions highlighted a general lack of consistent play and a concern over where goals would come from. Despite the team's survival, there's a strong sentiment that a change in management is needed, with calls for an experienced figure to be appointed quickly.

Supporters also emphasized the need for the board to make strategic decisions, focusing on the club's long-term health rather than emotional choices. The discussion also touched upon the uncertainty surrounding player departures following the manager's exit, suggesting a potential 'end of an era' for some.

Partick Thistle received plaudits for their performance over both legs, with many acknowledging they could have secured promotion. The style of play from both teams was criticized as uninspiring, with a desperate need for a clearout and new leadership being a recurring theme among the fanbase.
