Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown recently experienced a memorable moment during a FOX Sports broadcast. Former NFL player Julian Edelman posed a question that had an unexpected double entendre, leaving St. Brown momentarily stunned.
Edelman intended to ask about St. Brown's preference for playing in domed stadiums, but his phrasing, "if he loves dome as much as Jared Goff," caused confusion. St. Brown's surprised reaction, "That's a crazy question," prompted Edelman to quickly clarify his meaning, emphasizing "playing in dome stadiums."
Fans on social media platform X reacted with amusement to the incident, with many discussing Edelman's delivery and St. Brown's surprised response. The moment became a talking point among NFL enthusiasts.
Following the clarification, St. Brown shared his perspective on playing in domes. He elaborated that controlled indoor conditions, free from elements like wind and extreme temperatures, benefit wide receivers by allowing them to execute routes more precisely. This preference was evident in Detroit's Week 3 victory over the New York Jets, where St. Brown significantly contributed to the offense.
