20 Oct
Summary
- Srikkanth suggests trading Shivam Dube for Hardik Pandya.
- He recommends Chandrakant Pandit as MI's new coach.
- Rohit Sharma or Suryakumar Yadav could lead MI.
Former Indian captain Kris Srikkanth has proposed a significant player trade between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) for the upcoming IPL season. Srikkanth believes CSK should trade all-rounder Shivam Dube to MI in exchange for Hardik Pandya, a move he feels would benefit both teams.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth emphasized that Pandya's inclusion would solidify CSK's all-rounder position. He even suggested Dube could be traded for free, advocating for CSK to consider letting him go to secure Pandya. The former captain also proposed that MI should appoint Chandrakant Pandit as their new head coach.
Srikkanth further suggested that MI should consider Rohit Sharma or Suryakumar Yadav as their next captain. He believes Pandit, a former Mumbai player, would be a valuable addition as coach, bringing a calm and effective approach. This strategic advice comes after MI's disappointing IPL 2026 campaign.
