Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that the nation will host Pakistan for a three-match T20 International series in January. All contests are slated to be held at the Dambulla venue, commencing on January 7 and concluding on January 11.
This series unfolds as Sri Lanka confronts the substantial challenges posed by Cyclone Ditwah. The cyclone resulted in significant flooding and mudslides, claiming over 400 lives and affecting more than 1.5 million people across the island.
The upcoming T20Is represent Pakistan's return to Sri Lanka for this format after a ten-year interval. Their last T20 tour saw Pakistan emerge victorious in both matches played in Colombo.
