Ganguly doubts Sundar's No. 3 Test spot

Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has voiced reservations about Washington Sundar's long-term viability as a Test batsman at the crucial No. 3 position. Ganguly, now president of the Cricket Association of Bengal, suggested that Sundar might find it difficult to adapt to this role in demanding overseas conditions such as those in South Africa, England, Australia, or New Zealand.

Ganguly emphasized the importance of having specialist batsmen occupy the top five positions in the Test lineup. He stated his lack of conviction that Sundar is India's ideal choice for No. 3 when playing in challenging environments like England or Australia, indicating that team management should carefully consider this aspect.
