Smith Out: Calf Injury Sidelines Player Saturday
8 Feb
Summary
- Smith is out for Saturday's game due to a calf injury.
- His absence will shift center duties to other players.
- Smith's next potential game is Monday against Brooklyn.
A right calf issue has forced Smith to be sidelined for Saturday's game against the Nuggets. This marks an ongoing concern for the player over the past week and a half, ultimately preventing him from participating.
Smith's unavailability means Guerschon Yabusele and Nick Richards are anticipated to absorb the majority of the center minutes. Support may also come from Lachlan Olbrich or Leonard Miller. The team's next scheduled game following Saturday's matchup is Monday in Brooklyn, where Smith may have his next chance to play.
