Kamilla Cardoso achieved a historic performance on Friday night, scoring a career-high 30 points with a perfect 13-of-13 shooting record from the field. This remarkable feat led the Chicago Sky to a decisive 124-94 victory over the Portland Fire.

The Sky's offensive prowess was on full display as they not only secured the win but also shattered the franchise record for most points scored in a single game, reaching 124 points. Jacy Sheldon's layup in the fourth quarter officially broke the previous mark.

Supporting Cardoso's historic night, Sydney Taylor contributed an impressive 29 points, marking her fourth game this season with 20 or more points. Veterans Azura Stevens and Courtney Vandersloot, making her season debut, added 12 and 10 points respectively.

Chicago established an early lead, finishing the first quarter at 29-17, and maintained control throughout the game. The team shot an outstanding 66% from the field and converted 15 of their 28 three-point attempts. Bridget Carleton led Portland with 20 points, and Carla Leite added 18.

The Fire will visit the Washington Mystics on Sunday, while the Sky are set to host the Las Vegas Aces on the same day.
