Her sixth-place finish in the women's single skating short program on Friday secured five points for Team Canada, enabling them to advance to the team event medal round.
Schizas is scheduled to compete in the women's single skating free skating portion of the team event on Sunday. Additionally, she will participate in the individual women's single skating short program medal event on Tuesday, February 17. This marks her second Winter Olympics, having previously finished 18th in the short program at the 2022 Games. A medal in either event would be her first Olympic accolade.
