The planned Midwest Challenge Powerboat Races for August 8-9 in Sheboygan were canceled by the International Hot Rod Association due to insufficient operational staffing. The festivities kick off on Friday, August 7th, with Cruise and Brews at City Green and downtown Sheboygan. This event will feature a car show, live music, over 20 food trucks, and beverages. Several powerboat racing teams are expected to attend in support.
From Saturday, August 8th, through Sunday, August 9th, Beach, Bites and Brews will take place at General King Park near South Beach. This retooled beach party includes food trucks, a vendor market, a kids' zone, live music, and offerings from 3 Sheeps Brewing.
To facilitate access to these events, Shoreline Metro will provide free special event trolley service connecting key locations like King Park, City Green, downtown Sheboygan, and various attractions.
