Captain Masood opted to bowl first after winning the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Three significant alterations were made to Pakistan's playing eleven compared to the first Test. Babar Azam, Khurram Shahzad, and Sajid Khan have been brought back into the squad.
