Summary
- Sepang district roads will close from August 16-19 for Sukma cycling.
- Closures will occur daily between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm.
- Event organizers advise the public to plan alternative routes.

Roads across the Sepang district are set to be closed in stages between August 16 and August 19, 2026. These closures are in preparation for the road cycling competition of the Selangor Malaysia Games (Sukma).
The affected routes will be intermittently shut from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm daily. This schedule is designed to facilitate the competition for the 142 participating cyclists. Traffic management will be implemented across four designated zones to ensure smooth operations.
Specific dates will see varied route impacts. August 16, 17, and 19 will affect roads such as Persiaran Pantai Sepang Putra and Jalan Kampung Bagan Lalang. A more extensive closure is planned for August 18, impacting major arteries like Jalan Banting-Semenyih towards Dengkil and roads within Pekan Dengkil.
The Sepang police traffic division, supported by local authorities and Selangor contingent police, will oversee traffic control. This includes monitoring key junctions and conducting patrols. The public is advised to seek alternative routes and plan their travel ahead of time to mitigate disruption.
