Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald has finalized his coaching staff following the team's Super Bowl LX triumph, making several key changes for the upcoming 2026 season. Macdonald has successfully retained the majority of his championship-winning team.
However, offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has left to take the head coaching position with the Raiders. In his place, Brian Fleury has been hired as the new offensive coordinator. The team also announced four additional new staff members: Zachary Orr (inside linebackers coach), Daniel Stern (pass-game strategist), Thomas Hammock (senior offensive assistant/running backs), and Johnathan Williams (offensive assistant).
Several coaches have also seen their roles evolve. Tyson Prince is now the quarterbacks coach, succeeding Andrew Janocko, who followed Kubiak to the Raiders. Jake Peetz will now hold the title of quarterbacks coach in addition to offensive passing game coordinator. John Benton moves to senior offensive assistant, while Josh Bynes is promoted to outside linebackers coach.
Further defensive adjustments include Chris Partridge transitioning to defensive run game coordinator, and Kirk Olivadotti moving to senior defensive assistant. On offense, Justin Outten is promoted to run game coordinator. Notably, Orr and Macdonald share a history, having worked together extensively in Baltimore.
