Heavy rain has led to the postponement of Friday's Scottish Cup tie between Penicuik Athletic and Clyde. The match, planned to take place at Montgomery Park, was slated for live broadcast on BBC digital platforms. A provisional new date has been set for Saturday, 31 October, with a 15:00 GMT kick-off.

This postponement affects the second round of the competition, with 19 other ties scheduled for Saturday. The Scottish FA has prepared a list of alternative dates should the prevailing wet and windy weather conditions cause additional matches to be called off. The schedule also includes 14 SPFL fixtures on Saturday and two Premiership games on Sunday.
