Scarlets Seek Home Advantage vs. Struggling Zebre
19 Mar
Summary
- Scarlets host Zebre in a crucial bottom-of-the-table URC match.
- Six international players return for Scarlets, boosting team strength.
- Zebre have not won since their opening two matches of the season.
Scarlets are looking to capitalize on home support and the reintegration of six returning international players for their upcoming United Rugby Championship match against Zebre. This fixture is a significant contest as it features the bottom two teams in the league. Scarlets, who are four points ahead of their opponents, have struggled in recent home games since their last victory in January.
Head coach Nigel Davies expressed his anticipation for playing at home again and appealed for strong crowd support. The return of key players from Six Nations duty is expected to bolster the Scarlets' lineup. However, the team will still be without three Wales internationals who are sidelined due to injuries, posing ongoing challenges.
