Sam Dekker, a standout player in Wisconsin basketball history, will be inducted into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026. His junior year in 2015 saw him lead UW to another Final Four appearance, highlighted by a career-best 27 points in the Elite Eight victory over Arizona, earning him Most Outstanding Player honors for the region.
Dekker declared for the NBA Draft after his junior season. He concluded his collegiate career having scored 1,363 points, ranking him 15th in Wisconsin history. He will be enshrined alongside other notable basketball figures such as Frank Kaminsky and Michael Finley.
