Salah's Return: Can He Reignite Liverpool's Attack?

Mohamed Salah is poised to rejoin Liverpool's starting eleven for their upcoming Champions League match against Marseille. Manager Arne Slot has indicated Salah's return, stating their relationship remains normal despite past tensions. Salah had voiced unhappiness with club management before leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations.

During the tournament, Salah netted four goals as Egypt finished fourth. Former player Stephen Warnock believes Salah's return is timely, as Liverpool's attack has been lacking sharpness and clinical finishing. Warnock suggests Salah can provide the necessary 'edge' for the team, especially in a challenging away fixture against a strong Marseille side.

Liverpool faces a formidable opponent in Marseille, managed by Roberto De Zerbi, making this a significant test for the Reds. The team's need for goal-scoring prowess and a sharper attack highlights the importance of Salah's reintegration into the squad.
