Rodrigues Rewarded: New Bolton Deal Until 2028

Ruben Rodrigues has been rewarded with a new two-year contract at Bolton Wanderers, extending his stay until June 2028. The 30-year-old midfielder initially joined the club on an 18-month deal in January, a move that proved instrumental as his two goals in the League One play-off final helped secure victory against Stockport County.

Rodrigues, who previously played for Notts County and Oxford United, shared his lifelong ambition to represent Bolton. He expressed gratitude for the club's desire to keep him longer, highlighting his positive experience so far.

Currently sidelined with a knee injury sustained in a previous match, Rodrigues is focused on his recovery. He anticipates being back on the pitch soon and feels his fitness and performance are improving annually. He is optimistic about contributing for at least two more years.
