Royals Cheer on Commonwealth Games Netball!

The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by their three children, were present at the Commonwealth Games netball semi-finals held in Glasgow. Spectators witnessed intense games, including New Zealand's win against England and Jamaica's close victory over Australia.

While in Scotland, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the couple interacted with athletes, staff, and volunteers. Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte also took photos with Team Scotland players.

The netball results set up a gold medal match between Jamaica and New Zealand, with England competing against Australia for bronze. The OVO Hydro venue is set to be transformed for the closing ceremony.

This edition of the Games featured a scaled-down program but included a record number of para-sports events. Glasgow stepped in as host after Victoria, Australia, withdrew due to rising costs. The opening ceremony included King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Looking ahead, Ahmedabad, India, is scheduled to host the centenary Commonwealth Games in 2030. The closing ceremony will feature performances from various artists, celebrating the host city and sporting achievements.
