"I have long had the ambition to contribute to football beyond the field," Ronaldo stated, expressing his eagerness to support UD Almeria's growth. The club, recently acquired by Saudi-based SMC group, is currently second in La Liga 2. Almeria's president, Mohamed Al Khereiji, highlighted Ronaldo's deep understanding of Spanish football and his potential to enhance the club's development.
